I've just got back into SWG, lvl80 jedi elder and got to lvl 86, but
i'm starting to do more quests now than i did before as i was always
grinding. TBH i'm quite enjoying it at the moment but when the quests
have finished or i've done most of them it will dwindle i think. They
need instances like WoW, i did NK Necrosis solo was my first time i
came it across it (didn't know where it was located) got the deed for
te start fighter (but can't fly it yet). I don't have the trials of
obi-one so maybe if i am really pressed i might get it for the
quests....i do miss the crafter i had it's just not the same now,
BH'ing it quite fun trying to build a new toon to do this....but
there's still the grind as always but there is in every game.

This is the first game I have really witnessed the demise of. I know Ac or was it DAoC that folded up after a pretty good run.....

AC2 was shut down (but wasn't much of a success), AC1 is still going (though not as strong) but I have doubts Turbine will bother if both D&DO and LotRO take off. Before that, EA shut down Earth & Beyond and Motor City Online. Then there are the aborted games like Ultima Online 2 and Ultima Online: X (both EA - I am starting to notice a pattern here, though apparently The Sims Online is still alive) and Microsoft's Mythica and True Fantasy Online. DAoC is still going strong as well, though again: What happens if Mythics next baby - Warhammer Online - takes off? Or Funcom with Age of Conan - would they kill off Anarchy Online if they find they need all available resources on the new game?
