There have been 386 for the last four or five years. They're about to add
some more - the third batch of new Pokémon, not including the 151 originals.
So I suppose they do keep adding them, but not exactly at an unreasonable
rate.

i use to love pkmn

by the end of the reign of pokemon (when nintendo give up) there will
probably be like 2 million. Currently there are about 500ish?
