I've got Freddy Guarín at Rubra. He's superb. he surely is at first he can miss some passes, but after a seson he is superb but I wonder you got him more experienced as yr game is long now
|
Current game date is 22nd August 2010. I bought Freddy G from Pasto in
March 2007 for £1.4M cash-money. Season stats (all competitions) to
date:-
2007 [Serie B] - Games 12, Average Rating 7.35
2008 [Serie B] - Games 33, Average Rating 7.39
2009 [Serie A] - Games 25, Average Rating 7.64
2010 [Serie A] - Games 14, Average Rating 7.86
2010 season is ongoing.
I should point out that I tend to operate a strict squad-rotation
system at Rubra, so he could well have played more games than that. He
did have 5 months out with a broken leg from April 2007 but otherwise
his fitness has been excellent.
I'm blessed with two other quality DMCs, so I often rest him if
there's a key game like a Libertadores tie coming up. If it's a big
game, I want him ready and he's never let me down. He got 9/10 and a
goal in the 4-0 away demolition of that team playing in black and
white who you love so dearly. ;-)
My friend and I have had him in previous versions, so as soon as I saw
he was available bringing him in was a no-brainer. He seems to develop
well with good training and facilities (I have a Youth Academy) so the
earlier you get him the better.
Can you get better DMCs? Probably, but you'd be looking at paying a
lot more money. His Minimum Fee with me is currently £5M, and if
anyone came in for that I'd seriously consider counter-offering with a
new deal.
He's my Club Captain, my first-choice DMC, and comes highly
recommended.

Your words made me feel like changing Vieira for Guarin next season at
Inter
only concern is that if Inter continues so successful I might be tempted
to move next season ;-)

hahaha, never did, and Vieira just told the world his success is part due
to my coaching when he was nominated best player of the year! ;-)

I'm /still/ at Rubra, and noticed that my Ambition stat is now 1. On
the season just gone, I was knocked out of the Libertadores Semi on
away goals and finished 10th after a pretty bad second half to the
season. Injuries didn't help, including £5.5m record signing Benito
Montalvo (IIRC) out for 9 months with a serious virus.
No South-American football next year and an increasing feeling that
I'm in danger of 'doing a Reidy' are beginning to make me think it's
time to start considering offers from bigger clubs in Brazil.
