Selecting custom civilisations in civ4
Right, first off there's no alt.games.civ4 sorry if I'm treading on
peoples toes talking about it here.
Second, I've searched but can't find any mention of my problem
elsewhere.
Third, I'm an idiot.
I must be because I can't select any of the custom civilisations I've
downloded and installed into the mods directory.
I load Civ4, go to advanced, load the Scotland_v2 mod (or
Bretagne/SuperCiv, Wales, Ireland, et al), game says it needs to
re-start, I click o.k. the game re-starts and I have the mod name in
the top right corner of the screen in nice friendly white letters.
However when I try to begin a game there's still only the same old
civ's.
What am I doing wrong?
I can load the rule britannia mod as a scenario and that works fine.
