[snip] Most of the saves on tombraiders.net are my own, but some came from Gary, Jeff and a few other people, such as Kerrie from MacRaider and Richard B. from Sailmaker Games for the Mac saves.

Hi Stella {waves}, Just to keep the record straight for the googlebot, it's Sailmaker Software. All my Mac saved Tombraider games can be found via <http://www.sailmaker.co.uk/games/>.

On a side note, I'm in the process of redesigning tombraiders.net and among the new additions will be additional saves. If you have any you'd like to contribute, just send them my way.
|
Should there ever be a release of TR:Legend for Mac OS X, naturally I'd buy it, play it, upload my saved games and advise Stella of them. Meanwhile, I'm playing the Windows version using Boot Camp on my Intel iMac (I'm very broad-minded), but I think we're already well enough served for Windows saved games. Richard.

Hey, Richard. I will double check to make sure all my links point to the right place. I'm glad to see you're still around. Now I guess I'll let these guys get back to their boat discussion. Wouldn't want to steer this thread too far off topic. Regards, Stella Stella's Tomb Raider Site The definitive, highly detailed & fully dressed TR walkthroughs! http://tombraiders.net

Thanks Stella LOL!

I think that boat has a LOT of power to do that kind of stuff. Hm. Does speed translate to scale? or is 35mph the same as 35mph for a full size boat? McG.
|
not quite sure what scale this boat is 1/15 perhaps...whatever scale it is, the speed is actual. power, oh yeah kinda makes me feel like the 'tool man'. added 3 oz(approx 90g) of birdshot to move the cg foreward, hopefully this weekend I'll be able to see whether or not I've managed to improve things. I have noticed that the mk1 tends to be a tad flighty with just a 19t car motor(shoulda heard a fellow club member comment 1st time he saw me run/flip that one after I had fixed the driveline(long story; short version I goofed when I built it)" how do you flip a 19t" he said in disbelief) heh heh got that one running nice. if we run a 19t class at the nats I'll run that(19t is not an official class). you should build a boat and come up next year rex

sounds like some acetone might be in order(assuming its old gunky oil in the
cylinder), less of course you mean stuck as in can't get it out of the heli
. I trust you know to check yer batts carefully before trusting them to
run radios etc. cheapbatterypacks has some nice prices on custom made packs.

I'm gonna see what I got local to me here. It's not in the city, but out
in the county. There are some rc hobby shops around, lots of flyers to feed
Then there's the lake too. Big lake. Modellers out there too. Oddly
enough, all the radio gear and batteries look great. Might try giving the
heli pack and transmitter a charge when I get the stuff sorted. I'll try
some acetone in the jug when I get the engine out. 1.1 hp, it is not like
my old Cox .049 Thimbledromes I used to use in little fixed wing airplanes
and dune buggys More like a motorcycle engine
So you got pics of your GoFastBoat kicking up some rooster?

ah not really familar with those size engines. one can hope that it is only
gunky oil(varnish) causing the probs. thinking you will prolly end up
replacing most of the gaskets and seals.
well I posted the most recent ones bout a week ago... got to do some touch
up on the paint though. takes some adjusting (mental set) for the increased
speed 1st run ended with the boat parked in roughly 1" of water(amazing how
much the pond seems to shrink when the boats get over 30 mph ) kept
blowing the turn fin out. now I have a bigger one. hope I get to test it,
getting toward the end of boating season up here(haven't had a 'killing'
freeze yet, but I expect we'll get one by halloween).
have you seen the Aquacraft(tm) supervee27? fun boat pull it out of the box,
install batteries* and toss it into the water 31 mph stock! for under $300.
there is talk of starting a stock superv class(allowing the change of Rx and
moving the antenna). rex
*2 charged 6 cell nimh packs for the boat and tape the hatch, 8 AA's for the
included tx
