Default steering in drag mode

Hi everybody,

I don't like the drags in MW but I have to win some of them anyhow.
I noticed a very different manner of steering in drag mode only - I
really have to jerk the wheel, otherwise my car will collide with an
vehicle on the road - feels as if they're kind of "magnetic".

Anyone else here has this weird effect?
TNX in advance

It is rather annoying, isn't it. However, I think the idea is that you have
to let go of the gas to steer. Seems to work for me. Also, don't forget that
that 'slo-mo' mode still works in Drag mode.

okay - at least it is not a fault of my wheel. Good advice to let go the
gas and using the slo-mo, too. Thanks again. Apparently I have to
tolerate it <sigh>.

greetings
Bernd

In drag mode, the car doesn't really steer. You just move the wheel
and the car changes lanes automatically. However, in speedbreaker mode,
the car will steer normally.

Jeff:

That's the full explanation, tnx! It feels exactly this way - you don't
really control the car. May be the best is to change to an digital
gamepad for drag race?

Greetings
Bernd

Or use the speedbreaker for every lane change, which would probably
be easier.
