Anyone here every tried this game?

Wierd controls, but really quite good fun when you get it - and it's now
completely free, and compatible with XP apparently - works fine on my
system, and my 6 year old son is an instant addict.

Cheers!

Oh yes, in fact me and some friends played it LAN many many moons ago.

It's good fun but increasingly frustrating the further into the game
you go due to the absense of a quick save. Multi is great fun and the
sound of the tactical nuke flying in your general direction is a sound
I'm unlikely to forget.

Thanks for replying Stri - I was beginning to think I'd done something so
terrible in posting that that I'd embarassed everyone into silence... ;o)

I've been playing a little against my kids - and they against each other -
you should see my boy playing, he's pretty frightening, although he has an
under-developed sense of self-preservation - "DEATH FIRST!!!"

IIRC correctly, it was supposed to be possible to use two joysticks to play
the game - one for each tread... now wouldn't that be - erm - fun?
