Plates are pottery, heat retentive plates are applied physics to keep
your food hot and enjoy,
you are not interested because rats eat sh...shame on you rat. I
thought I could find intelligent people here and I am in cloacks.

Wow, what's your tinkering skill at? Or would "plates" be pottery?

Here's the thing; nobody is seriously arguing the merits of your method,
rather, they are making fun of your attempt to promulgate your
invention, real or not, on a usenet site dedicated to the game
everquest. In everquest, an item like a "non stick frying pan" is
interesting only insomuch as it permits making of recipies such as the
"patty melt" which can be used to increase skill in "baking".

If you had announced the discovery of the EQ item "heat retentive plate"
it would be of interest here, and people would want the recipe for
making it, and be looking for baking recipies which use the new item, if
any.

However, you aren't discussing some item within the fantasy world of EQ,
but rather one which (if it indeed exists) apparantly does within the
"real world".

At a minimum, prefacing your thread with the letters OT to denote that
you are off topic would be necessary to get any serious treatment. More
likely, even this wouldn't help, you just aren't dealing with "real
world" people here.

You might try looking for alt.cooking or alt.physics or even
alt.alien.science, where discussion of hypothetical real world items
like your plates and mugs might be met with at least a modicum of
postive consideration.

Does anyone of you know about Black body radiation and theb
stefan-Boltzmann law?Are all of you so arrogant that you reject
something without even understanding it?
Just type: "hi tec plates" in yahoo or google then hit enter. Is that
too much for you? I cannot believe it.

He discovered a new tinkered recipe item from Serpent Spine and found he could use it in pottery recipes. He now wants to sell his secret at 100,000 pp so people can make their own gnomish firebombs. __________________________________________________ ________ Submitted by: Davek This message was submitted through the Erollisi Marr Forum

Does it mean "Pressing submit twice in 11 seconds"? Or does it mean "My punctuation and sentence structure sucks"? -- Tony Evans (ICQ : 170850) Recommended Author : Guy Gavriel Kay A day without sunshine is like, night Meet the wife : http://www.darkstorm.co.uk/grete

Real world? What's that?

Apparantly a MMOG version of the popular tabletop game Papers and
Paychecks. The graphics are apparantly fantastic, full immersion 3D,
absolutely seamless, however most of the content sucks, with
outlandishly long time sinks (four years to camp a BS diploma, for one
example) and long travel times (you thought EQ boats were bad, try 4
straight days of driving to get from the Pennsylvania zone to the
Arizona zone!) Frankly, I don't see the appeal.
