The Faire is vastly worth it compared to the Argent Dawn grind - unless you are exalted with AD (which is a *massive* grind) the epic necklace from them will take a heck of a lot more work than the Darkmoon one does, and I personally think Darkmoon is better. It certainly is for a rogue and currently it is for a hunter too (it probably won't be when TBC comes as the attack power to agility ratio will change for hunters then)

Both you and Alphawolf have refered to the Attack power to agilityratio changing in the BC -- is there a particular reason why huntersare being nerfed so much? I was under the impression that hunters arefairly balanced now after all the talents have been reviewed. Is it a problem with scaling perhaps? a L60 hunter is balanced, by atthe same rate of advancement a L70 hunter will pwn all due to agilbonuses?

Could be, also a lot of the new talents give increased agility, plus I
think they want to improve the amount of damage done by weapons. From all I
can see overall it's not a nerf, it's just different to before, but it'll
take some getting used to. Will make things easier for me personally
however, using the same calculations for my hunter as for my rogue is nice
and simple ;-)

FYI, I see the Darkmoon amulet as an achieveable goal in the shortterm, AD rep will take quite a bit longer to complete.

Agreed, I completed the Darkmoon amulet while levelling through my 50s,
while I'm still not exalted with Argent Dawn (having been 60 since
January!) and just the work to get the 18-slot bag was enough of a grind
that I won't bother with the epics.
