Is it me, or does Dead Rising look just like a revamped State of
Emergency?

After reading many, many reviews, I was really excited for this game.
Seeing it in TV commercials made me think again.

I will say one thing about Dead Rising.

I have played a ton of games over the years. I've played every imaginable
system under the sun. To this day, I have not found a non-puzzle game as
addictive as Dead Rising. Try it, do a few missions, then decide. Don't let
a commercial be your decision-maker or decision-breaker.

dead rising is one of the best games for any system.

It is in the top 2 or 3 depending on your tastes for the 360.

Rent it ASAP, maybe not a game to buy, but it is just amazing to screw
around with on a lazy weekend.

On the surface yes but it's far far far superior when you actually play it.
(and yes I have played both)

The missions in Dead Rising are much more interesting than State of
Emergency. But, State of Emergency had multiplayer.

Things a much less chaotic in Dead Rising. You actually have to avoid
the zombie hoards. The graphics are also MUCH better and the
environments larger and more detailed. Plus, they ain't no fish
slapping in SOE.

There is a huge difference between the two.

State of Emergency sucked.

Dead Rising is great.
