Didn't work either, now it's got some problem with the civ2.exe file.Thanks for your effort Vladesch.

Did you scan for viruses, etc.? also, if you have a little disc
space, you may consider installing another copy of your OS and trying
it to see if it is hardware related, or some bad driver in your OS.

Just a thought.
