i just want it on 75hz. but i dont know how to change it, can somebody tell
me how or if its possible to change it anywhere?

nevermind, you can get 75hz when you choose DirectD in stead of OpenGL in
the menu of glidos. I see no difference in other stuff so this is good
enough for me.
btw, I could surely remember that tr1 like much more nicer in the days i
used my voodoo 1 monster card. Although it was only 640x480. Maybe even a
few filters are missing? Does anybody have some screenshots from one of
those olddays cards (no glidos)? Voodoo, matrox, or ati? I cant find my old
screenshots anywhere but i must have left them somewhere (it was for me
about 1998).

you're right about things looking different than it used to. I never used
any of the chipsets you mentioned, I had a Creative Labs 3D Blaster PCI,
which was a Rendition Verite 1000 based card. Later I added a Creative Labs
3D Blaster Voodoo2 12 meg card. The picture was even better and much more
viewable at 800x600. Part of the reason (IMHO) that the picture looks so
different now with my modern vid card and monitor is that the image quality
is SO much better and sharper on these 19" LCD flat panels than on the old
fuzzy 14" bowed glass multisync CRT I had back then.
This is where I find that using the nVidia setup before entering GliDOS
makes the picture better.

I also have an nvidia card, I wonder what do you change exactly in the setup
to make it more better looking?

Check the resolution in Glidos. If u're using e.g. 1024x768 @ 75Hz in
windows, it should be the same in Glidos. But if Glidos switches into a
different resolution, the refresh rate may be different too.
So make sure the game is played on the same resolution as your normal
windows session. Alternately, if you wanna play on a different
resolution, switch into the desired one in windows, change the refresh
rate as u wish (i suppose u know how), then switch back. Next time when
Glidos emulation is started, the refresh rate should be the one you
want.
Feel free to ask if you encounter any probs.

Depending on the driver version, open up the control applet, go to the
Performance & Quality Settings section, under application go over to Active
Profile, select global driver settings, then click on Add Profile, name it
TR Legends or somesuch, in the middle, View, select Advanced settings. Then
check the boxes in the list of what you want to try. I would seriously
suggest turning HDR OFF as it is not correctly implemented in Legend.
This section exists in all 7x.xx and 8x.xx series drivers.

I'm not impressed by that upgrades, because the colors look a lot different
than the old ones and that old coloring is the one i am used to and i liked
that. I dont like the new colors they used for the textures. That would be
like playing another game and i dont want that.
thanks for the tip though.

hdr off is no problem, i cant used it anyway. I have an older gf 4 (ti
4800 se) im very pleased with that, maybe for tr7 it could be better but
that new one is still playing very good.
The main thing is that the colors look a bit pale and grayish when compared
to software mode. If i could change that in more brighter en stronger
colors, that would be nice.
