The God is part of faith argument I can get on with it's only the God is
proved by science thing that I find astonishing. It's a bit like saying
the the theory of gravity has a few unexplained problems therefore I
believe that what we call gravity can be explained by people wearing hats.

Yeesh. Dude, by my own poor standards that post is terribly worded.
So you believe in God but don't believe in intelligent design?
If I understand you correctly then that's fair enough. I don't subscribe
to your point of view because I believe in either of them but thats ok.

Oh, and deviating from the subject slightly has anyone seen this yet. I
saw it reviewed on Jonothon Ross and it scared the hell out of me.

It's a film called Jesus Camp. It's a documentary and I'm not sure if
I'll pluck up the courage to see it.

Sorry I should have made my post clearer. I don't believe in God but I
don't have a problems with the I believe in God as a faith statement
type of person. It's the ones who try to justify it with a
pseudo-science approach type of thing that annoy me. Much the same as
the quacks who peddle new age medicine etc. yet can't justify why or how
it works mainly because it doesn't!

I know how you feel. What was Jonathan Ross's comments? Couldn't see
anything on his Film 2006 website.
