Make the most of it. You still won't qualify.

Would you like some cheese with that whine Mikael? Did you seriously expect
Northern Ireland to turn up with the intention of getting into a football
match? We battled hard, put in a solid, defensive performance and came away
with a point more than I expected. Mission accomplished as far as I'm
concerned. If you want to have a moan, then direct it at some of your
better players who didn't turn up for the match (i.e. Tomasson). Just wait
for the return game if you want a football match, with the Northern Ireland
team being spurred on by the best fans in Europe (we won an award you know).
We're much more cavalier at home, as the Iceland result shows.

Well yes. Thats what they were there for.

If you mean 10 men in the box as a solid, defensive performance, then
sure it was.

I do moan about N.I. but mostly about Denmark. The coach should know
better than to play with Tomasson up front when playing against a
defensive team. H

Hopeully our coach will come with a different tactic. And hopefully N.I.
wont be so defensive.

No, we were there to collect as many points as possible. And
considering Denmark are supposed to be a much better side than us, one
point was one more than I expected to get.

Don't be such a dick, there were hardly ten men in the box for 90
minutes. If that was the case then Healy wouldn't nearly have scored
when your cock of a reserve keeper dropped the ball at his feet.

Not what came across in your original message. If you're not good
enough to beat us, then that isn't our fault.

Based on his performance I don't think he should have been playing at
all, and Bendtner should have been on much earlier. You were
definitely more threatening with him on the pitch.

Didn't I just say that? The coach might also think about practising
some more crossing and shooting.

Living in the past eh? Perhaps the team were reminiscing about the
'glory days', when they should have been playing football. Next time
you fancy having a bitch about your teams inadequacies, try not to drag
anyone else into it.

Not really. I leave that to the scots.

True that the N.I. tactic worked, but it was like watching Greece (no
offence Nick). No intention of playing football.
Denmark should have won it by far. Unfortunately they did their worst.

No need for that kind of language. N.I. played a defensive game, meaning
they stood in the box most of the time and relied on counter and set
pieces. They hardly had a single chance produced from the back 4.

Not my fault you read it wrong. I complained about Denmark not being
able to beat a defensive N.I. team.

If Denmark had played 4-4-2 with Tomasson and Bendtner on top, we might
have had a better chance. Tomasson cannot produce anything on his own
against a defensive team.

Why no? If I did, I would brig up that Denmark won the European
Championship in 1992.

Of the 2 teams, Denmark played the most football. Too bad they couldnt
produce what they should.
