XBOX fanboy rantings make me giggle.
So what's all this nonsense about me being someones Sock Puppet? Just
because I share the views of two other people does not make me them.
You are all subservient to a fantasy that sees Blu-Ray toppled, despite
the evidence to the contrary, The Playstation 3 fail at dominating the
world video games market, and the Blu-Ray format failing to enable high
definition gaming.
Yet a wander down to the Best of Stuff show in less than a month will
clarify just how wrong you all are.
Even quicker than that, fire up any interview with Sony, Insomniac,
Factor 5, you will see actual DEVELOPERS waxing Lyrical about the
immense and UNIQUE power of the PS3.
Dub, a faker who pretends to be a animation expert, refuses to accept
the truth that the PS3 is using 22gb for a game, simply because he's
somehow an expert in graphics.
Jordan, who thinks Im some individual called Dreamcasted.
Jonah Falcon who thinks I am Blig Merk.
Who else am I? Perkoff? The Grinch?
I've never seen so many paranoid delusional in such a small place. It's
amazing watching you tear your hair out in frustration at the
inevitability of the demise of the PS3.
It is I that will have the last laugh. Mark my words.

You don't just share views, you share writing styles and intelligence
levels. I simply cannot believe there is more than one person as dumb
as you are who is also interested in trolling an Xbox group in support
of a mythical machine that isn't even being mass produced yet.

p.s. I never said you were Dreamcasted, I said you were
KillzoneBigNuts. Naturally both of those are the same person as well,
but you wouldn't know that if you were truly a noob troll to the group.
QED - You're exactly who I pegged you to be.

You stink of the same troll shit. Too bad for you.

You mean the horrible quality of the Sony BD titles (especially Fifth
Element)? The smoke and mirrors concerning the Samsung's Genesis chip
(which turned out to be another Sony lie since they look exactly the
same on the new Panny player)? The fact that HD-DVD is outselling
Blu-Ray 11:1? Which "evidence" was it you were imagining?

Sure, fire up any interview with Sony (like anyone believes THEM) or
any developer with a vested interest in their launch exclusives selling
well... or other developers (such as Epic) who point out the cost
associated .

I'm flattered you remember me, Bliggy. Bottom line, though, is it
doesn't matter whether you believe me or not. I know horse shit when I
smell it. When R:FoM ships and folks dump the disc contents and find
how easily the data is compressed to fit on a DVD-9 (with the possible
exception of the high-def FMV, which I admit is a really cool thing
about BD), I'll be happy to come back here and point this out. I know
you won't be man enough to admit you were wrong.

It won't matter whether you have the last laugh. It doesn't matter
whether the PS3 becomes the greatest console hit of all time, causes
Microsoft to go into bankruptcy, invades Poland, and brings peace and
tranquility to the world. (That would be kinda awesome, really.) Even
if the PS3 does all that, you're still a douche, you'll always be a
douche, and you will die alone and unloved. I don't think you'll be
laughing much then.

As a side note: I was in Best Buy today, and they had that chicken little
movie running from the Samsung player to a Samsung LCD. It was literally the
most amazing thing my eyes have ever seen.
I don't think the problem with blu-ray has anything to do with the player. I
think it has more to do with the movies themselves being in Mpeg 2 format.
Or maybe just being a shitty rush job done by the movie studios. I was
mesmerized watching it, and it made me have high hopes of being able to play
those movies on PS3. It really was stunning.

Bingo! You're right on both counts. Many of the more recent BD
encodes (especially those from Warner) have had nearly
indistinguishable picture quality to their HD-DVD counterparts, in part
because Warner is freely using VC-1, but also because they're taking
the time to make sure the master is done right. This is clearly not
the case with other so-called "showcase" titles like Fifth Element,
which has been razzed to the ends of the earth (and doesn't look much
better than the standard DVD Superbit version). Poor master + crappy
encode = thirty plus dollar coaster.
On another interesting note, tomorrow is supposed to be the premiere of
"Click" (starring Adam Sandler), the first BD-50 title. Although the
movie has a short running time, all the extras are said to be in HD,
and it'll be refreshing to a great number of the early adopters that
BD-50 will be a reality. I didn't think BD-50 would hit the shelves
this year, but they're doing it, and actually turning a promise into
reality.
