Default Finished DOA4

That is, I finished the story mode for all the characters. It's
good to see the breast bouncing back in full form after the rather
muted jiggling of DOA3. I rate this the most bounceable version after
the infamous first one, which looked like it was set on the moon. Here
we have jello at earthquake factor 5, which is a bit overdone but hey
that's what this series is all about. The girls still look like
plastic dolls, though. On to the minor matters...

Gameplay: I had delayed picking this one up after hearing how hard
it was (and to boot, not even having an easy setting) and how insanely
disadvantaged the player is with regards to the CPU in combos and
counters, since I'm still a klutz at fighting games. But I find it
fairly doable if I just button mash the heck out of it while
alternating the kick/punch and high/low button and -- I win half the
time on normal setting. And, no, I didn't have time and didn't bother
with sparring practice.

Graphics: I don't find the graphics that much better than the last
one -- I'd rate the improvement factor as a disappointing 10% more. Or
perhaps it's just my crappy TV monitor.

Video/Music: the best in the series so far. I especially digged
Christine's and Zack's end videos and, of course, Helena's - of
course, any ending that is set to Aerosmith's "Amazing" and
incorporates scenes from the other characters' videos already has a big
advantage.

Question: is there any official or fan site that has screenshots
of *all* the character's costumes. I'm curious (especially about the
ones for Spartan) but am not sure I want to spend the time playing this
over and over (enjoyable as the scenery is) just to unlock them all.

I heard the on-line play is pretty awesome, especially the pre-game lobbys
that can be customized some.

Thanks, but I've never been interested in the multiplaying and
online aspects of videogames. (I did try going on XBox live recently
to download updates to make some 1st-gen Xbox games compatible but
couldn't even connect due to some incompatibility in the systems check
of my ethernet modem -- I'm strictly an off-line player, and it looks
like Xbox Live is not going to change that.)

If you're getting a failed IP test (I did at first as well), you might
have to manually put your DNS, IP, and/or PPPoE settings into your
Xbox360. I'm using the free 1 month of Gold right now and I'm having a
blast on PGR online but for some odd reason DOA4 just won't connect
when I click the DOA Online icon (it says "Your Xbox360 console is not
connected to XboxLive" when I clearly am as both my status bar and my
ability to go to the Marketplace demonstrates). You should give it a
little troubleshooting unless your ISP confirmed to you that they're
incompatible with Live. For DOA4, it would be a good idea to get the
patch even if you don't want to do multiplayer, because unpatched DOA4s
have a nasty habit of deleting your save data according to what I've
read in Gamefaqs about known issues with the game.
