Anyway, I didn't really answer your question, so I'll give it another
shot:

Of course a necromancer can, quite easily, be dressed in gold find stuff.
I mean, people say they can finish the game with a naked one, so I suppose
an assortment of gold find stuff won't hurt: Chancies, Goldwrap, Wealth
armor, a Dual Lemmed Ali Babi, etc, etc. You could for instance have a 2nd
set of gear with +skills, to summon the initial skeletal army with, and
then swap into the goldfind gear...?

With a nice and strong merc, the bone cloud to protect you, and a powerful
CE, you'll get quite a way, as long as you don't venture into levels with
narrow passages. But I suppose those are also not the best gold find
areas...
