Default 28 to 30 fps in timedemo Radeon 9600 Pro, this good ?

Resolution 1024 by 768, like this res not to small not to big.

Ive got it on medium quality and NO AF or AA, though not sure what
Doom 3 sets it at ?

Iam using the Humus tweaks as well as some other tweaks using the
Autoexec.cfg, my Vid card is also overclocked 23 before 28,30 after.

Was going to get a new card now i dont thing i need to

Using 4.9 offical ATI Catylast drivers.

Cheers.

Yep. I get about 27-30 FPS at 1152x864 with high quality on my Athlon
2200+ XP, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro AIW (128 MB), 1 GB of RAM, etc. I still
get choppy FPS here and there though.

I think it looks a lot better at 800*600 with 4xAA

I think it looks a lot better at 800*600 with 4xAA, using a similar system,
except xp2500 cpu.
30 in timedemo a bit low to play realistically. I tried the Humus and
various other tweaks, but only got a few FPS.
The best one I got was using optimize shadows, but this turns off some of
the lights, so moodily lit corners were totally dark, and its bad enough
with the whole flashlight-gun-flashlight-gun thing as it is (plus it
detracted from the atmosphere IMO).
I am just up the the decompiler? (big blue beam room), so I don't expect the
graphical situation to get any better later in the game.
