MY guild is doing more MC and has asked us to get more fire
resistance. Can someone explain how I go about to get the libram of
resilience if I cant find it cheap on the AH . What do I do with this
once I get it.

Thx

No you dont find them cheap in AH since every MC raiding group asks
(some of) their members to buff up thir fire res sooner or later, and
its one of the most efficient way doing this with librams.

Anyway, a libram of resilience actually starts a turn in quest when you
show it to the blood elf dude in the camp with the flightpath in burning
stepes.
To complete the quest you need the libram itself, a black diamond, 6
spire crystals from ungoro, 1 fiery essence from the dark coffer in BRD
and 30 pieces of gold.

When you give him all the stuff you get a one-use-crystal in return
which adds permanently +20 fire res to either a head- or leg-slot item.

U cant farm it IMO... its a "random" drop.. like all other librams.
Easiest way is to buy it in AH.. but u must pay a lot...
Good Fireress equip is: Onyxia Neck (u get when making the onyxia key
chain). The MC quest chain that starts at Hydraxian (or so) in Azshara.
(its a ring with +10 or 15 fireress). then u can get the Onyxia Scale
cloak (by killing onyxia and skin her, give the head to a
leatherworker), or the cloak that drops of the Fireelemental boss in
UBRS.
Then u can Farm the Fireelemental behind the bar in BRD. he drops
Fireress bracers. (+10 fireress). U can enchant ur cloak with +7
fireresist (or +5 resist all).
U can buy ur class book in AH. then u get a trinket with +10 fireress
and other stats (depands on class).
I think thats all what u can farm / buy easily.
Easiest things are: buy the class quest book / let someone enchant ur
cloak with +7 Fireresist (it has really cheap reagents).
then: Farm fireelementals in UBRS and BRD for cloak and bracers (if so,
let the enchanter enchant this cloak ;-) )
rest is more work.

Its nothing we had to get to 140.

What class are you? Here's the breakdown for Cloth/Casters

Cloth/Caster: Fire Resist Set
Non-mages can substitute their class specific Epic item where
applicable.

Theory: Baseline
This is not where you want to be, it is provided only as a baseline
reference
+18 ~ Wizardweave Turban
+20 ~ Wizardweave Robe
+14 ~ Incendic Bracers
+16 ~ Wizardweave Leggings
+10 ~ Smokey's Drape
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
+10 ~ Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas
+08 ~ Ward of the Elements
-----
+111 Fire Resist total
+118 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+145 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+178 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)
+238 Fire Resist Warlock (+60)
+193 Fire Resist with Mage Armor(+15)

As you can see, this setup is rather easy to obtain and will grant you
about 133 Fire Resist which will rank you in the Good section though
most of the time you will be in the 160 range. The max would be 193
with paladin aura, but that's a rarity that any of the mages would be
put with one. The major disadvantage of this setup is lack of stat
bonuses.

Theory: Max Fire Resist
The items listed here are the highest you can get on cloth for fire
resistance. These are not necessarily the best items as they do not
have the best stats.
+18 ~ Wizardweave Turban
+24 ~ Flarecore Mantle
+30 ~ Black Ash Robe
+14 ~ Incendic Bracers
+25 ~ Flarecore Gloves
+07 ~ Arcanist Belt
+16 ~ Flarecore Leggings
+15 ~ Fire Striders
+16 ~ Fireproof Cloak
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance
+18 ~ Hyper-Radiant Flame Reflector
+18 ~ Hyper-Radiant Flame Reflector
+20 ~ Elemental Mage Staff
+10 ~ Torch of Austen
-----
+284 Fire Resist total
+291 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+296 Fire Resist with +5 Fire Resist mod from AD
+316 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Head)
+336 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Pants)
+363 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+396 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)
+456 Fire Resist Warlock (+60)
+411 Fire Resist with Mage Armor(+15)

This is the highest possible mage build with fire resists. There are
two items that can bump it up higher Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros and
Talisman of Binding Shard but good luck prying it out of the cold dead
hands of the warrior.

Practical: Moderate Setup
This fire resistance range can be achieved with some effort and mostly
items you can out of MC
+10 ~ Arcanist Crown
+24 ~ Flarecore Mantle
+10 ~ Arcanist Robe
+10 ~ Arcanist Bindings
+10 ~ Skullsmoke Pants
+10 ~ Dragonrider Boots
+16 ~ Onyxia Scale Cloak
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
+15 ~ Tidal Loop
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance
+10 ~ Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas
+15 ~ Blazing Emblem
+15 ~ Magmus Stone
+10 ~ Torch of Austen
-----
+189 Fire Resist total
+196 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+201 Fire Resist with +5 Fire Resist mod from AD
+221 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Head)
+241 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Pants)
+268 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+301 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)
+361 Fire Resist Warlock (+60)
+316 Fire Resist with Mage Armor(+15)

One of the key difference between this setup and the easy and extreme
setups is that its grounded in reality. You can actually get decent
stam, int and +damage with this build as well as maintaining a very
high fire resist. Priests have the added advantage of being able to use
Mastersmith's Hammer

Ask for the Flarecore Mantle as your first item. Flarecore Leggings are
better but there is no easily obtained Mantle with Fire Resists.

Version: 0.2: Cleaned up initial version by Lone, added a few items and
clarified others. Broke it down into 4 sections.

Here's the Rogue one

Rogue: Fire Resist Set

Theory: Baseline
This is not where you want to be, it is provided only as a baseline
reference
+08 ~ Felhide Cap
+18 ~ Volcanic Shoulders
+20 ~ Volcanic Breastplate
+14 ~ Incendic Bracers
+20 ~ Flamescarred Girdle
+20 ~ Volcanic Leggings
+10 ~ Coal Miner Boots
+10 ~ Smokey's Drape
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
-----
+135 Fire Resist total
+142 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+169 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+202 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)

As you can see, this setup is rather easy to obtain and will just get
you by. I wouldn't recommend using this setup as you'll end up
sacrificing too much for too little.

Theory: Max Fire Resist
The items listed here are the highest you can get on cloth for fire
resistance. These are not necessarily the best items as they do not
have the best stats.
+29 ~ Molten Helm
+22 ~ Fireguard Shoulders
+20 ~ Volcanic Breastplate
+14 ~ Incendic Bracers
+25 ~ Flarecore Gloves
+26 ~ Lava Belt
+20 ~ Volcanic Leggings
+24 ~ Corehound Boots
+16 ~ Fireproof Cloak
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance
+18 ~ Hyper-Radiant Flame Reflector
+18 ~ Hyper-Radiant Flame Reflector
-----
+285Fire Resist total
+292 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+297 Fire Resist with +5 Fire Resist mod from AD
+317 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Head)
+337 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Pants)
+364 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+397 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)

This is the highest possible hunter build with fire resists. There are
two items that can bump it up higher Talisman of Binding Shard but good
luck prying it out of the cold dead hands of the warrior.
I removed the Sulfuras because Lillia was like "wah wah wah".

Practical: Moderate Setup
This fire resistance range can be achieved with some effort and mostly
items you can out of MC
+08 ~ Felhide Cap
+10 ~ Flamescarred Shoulders
+10 ~ Nightslayer Chestpiece or Nightbrace Tunic
+10 ~ Cinderhide Armsplints of ...
+08 ~ Doomhide Gauntlets or Aged Core Leather Gloves
+26 ~ Lava Belt
+20 ~ Volcanic Leggings
+24 ~ Corehound Boots
+16 ~ Onyxia Scale Cloak
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
+15 ~ Ocean Breeze
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance
+10 ~ Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas
+15 ~ Blazing Emblem
-----
+206 Fire Resist total
+213 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+218 Fire Resist with +5 Fire Resist mod from AD
+238 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Head)
+258 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Pants)
+285 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+318 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)

One of the more important part of striking a balance between stamina,
fr and +attack is so that you ensure that you don't die too quickly so
you can deal out more damage, but on the other hand you don't want to
dish out damage too slowly either.

Version: 0.2: Started new version
Version: 0.3: Rogues can no longer wield Sulfuras.

Paladins

Paladin: Fire Resist Set

Theory: Baseline
This is not where you want to be, it is provided only as a baseline
reference
+13 ~ Runic Plate Helm
+10 ~ Dark Iron Shoulders
+20 ~ Volcanic Breastplate or +12 ~ Dark Iron Mail
+14 ~ Incendic Bracers
+10 ~ Fiery Plate Gauntlets
+20 ~ Flamescarred Girdle
+20 ~ Volcanic Leggings
+20 ~ Lavawalker Greaves
+10 ~ Smokey's Drape
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
-----
+152 Fire Resist total
+159 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+186 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+219 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)

Its rather obvious that as a plate wearer you can reap the benefit of
being able to wear cloth, leather and mail as well and thus they have a
lot higher baseline.

Theory: Max Fire Resist
The items listed here are the highest you can get on cloth for fire
resistance. These are not necessarily the best items as they do not
have the best stats.
+35 ~ Dark Iron Helm
+25 ~ Fiery Chain Shoulders
+20 ~ Volcanic Breastplate
+18 ~ Dark Iron Bracers
+28 ~ Dark Iron Gauntlets
+26 ~ Lava Belt
+35 ~ Emberweave Leggings
+28 ~ Dark Iron Boots
+16 ~ Fireproof Cloak
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance

+18 ~ Hyper-Radiant Flame Reflector
-----
+320 Fire Resist total
+327 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+332 Fire Resist with +5 Fire Resist mod from AD
+352 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Head)
+372 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Pants)
+399 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+432 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)

This is the highest possible hunter build with fire resists. There are
two items that can bump it up higher Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros and
Talisman of Binding Shard but good luck prying it out of the cold dead
hands of the warrior.

Practical: Moderate Setup
This fire resistance range can be achieved with some effort and mostly
items you can out of MC
+10 ~ Lawbringer Helm
+25 ~ Fiery Chain Shoulders
+10 ~ Lawbringer Breastplate
+10 ~ Emberplate Armguards of ...
+07 ~ Lawbringer Gauntlets
+24 ~ Fiery Chain Girdle or +12 ~ Corehound Belt
+10 ~ Salamander Scale Leggings or +10 ~ Skullsmoke Pants
+10 ~ Dragonrider Boots
+16 ~ Onyxia Scale Cloak
+15 ~ Drakefire Amulet
+15 ~ Tidal Loop
+19 ~ Random Ring of Fire Resistance
+10 ~ Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas
+15 ~ Blazing Emblem
-----
+196 Fire Resist total
+203 Fire Resist Cloak Enchant (+7)
+208 Fire Resist with +5 Fire Resist mod from AD
+228 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Head)
+248 Fire Resist with +20 from Librams of Resilence (Pants)
+275 Fire Resist with Mark of the Wild(+27)
+335 Fire Resist with Paladin Fire Aura(+60) (-27 from Mark of the
Wild)

This set up is fairly extreme and has very little over the top. I've
dropped some of the Dark Iron items which are primarily stamina for
more Lawbringer items which has int and healing bonuses. Your mileage
may vary.

Version: 0.2: Started new version
Version: 0.3: Dropped a lot of the Dark Iron items in lieu of items
with more intellect. Who am I kidding 380 FR is just unnecessary
