Build threat on a banished mob?
Is there any way to build threat on a banished mob? Our guild is learning
the Garr fight, and several guides say that all the warlocks should have VWs
out, but they don't say exactly why. Can VWs build aggro on a banished mob
via their Torment ability?

Actually I think the Void Walkers just grab agro if the Banish Breaks
so that it does not get to close to the Main Tank and blow him/her up.

No, but the mob is usually unbanished for 1-3 seconds before it can be
re-banished after a break. The voidwalker is there to stop the warlock
from getting eaten alive before he can rebanish.

Unless you're slow on the draw with sending your VW in, or extremely
fast getting your first banish off, your VW will get one of its
taunting things off on your target, after that, whenever banish breaks,
they will sponge damage instead of whatever healer is nearby. Warlock
should channel healing to the walker as much as possible between
banishes.
Also, when the raid is ready for it and you let your banish go, he's
going to go for the walker first then the lock. You can sacrifice the
walker and run to your favourite tank.
If it were possible to build hate on a banished mob, the raid's healers
would outpace the walker very very quickly.

Also, if you leave your voidwalker's Torment on manual after the first
Banish, and you're really quick on it, you can stack another Torment on
during the brief time that the mob is unbanished (start casting Banish,
then hit Torment really fast while Banish is casting, it should land right
before the Banish cast finishes).

Nope, not from my experience. I only build hate with a mob if I heal a
guy currently on the aggro list of the mob.
To get into the aggro list of a banished mob would require healing the
banisher or the voidwalker, as hardly anybody else would be on it.
